It was so fun to see Miss “H” again and her parents. She’s getting more beautiful each time I see her and I’m not sure how that is possible. We have one more session together in August to celebrate her big one year milestone. Best part of my job is watching these little ones grow up!

But that’s how I roll these days. This is one of my very best friends and her family. I had SO much fun at our session last November. There are no words to describe how ridiculous we ALL were together (especially me) but in the end it sure was fun to act 12 years old again.

Each year, I try to make cute Valentine’s Day cards for my kiddos. Why? Because I can. I actually have time! Something that I have more of right now than I have in months. I use to despise the winter months for the obvious, but the longer I’ve been in the photography industry the more I am actually enjoying the season. It causes my business to drastically slow down which equals more time to breathe, sleep, eat and be with my family. I love it so much! At times though, I find myself getting antsy because I’m not doing anything else and have to force myself to just be still. So, Valentine’s Day is a pretty special time for us around here just to slow down and enjoy.
It was so fun to come back and see this family since our session last fall. Mia reminds me so much of her big brother when he was her age… although she does have him beat just a bit with her chubbiness. I absolutely love babies with rolls. It’s a good thing because all my own babies were quite full of them!
It has been so fun watching Sam grow up in front of my camera into the sweet boy he has become now at age four. He is just as gorgeous as he was when I first met him. He loves having his photos taken nowadays as opposed to the past. I can’t say that I blame him though because 12 sessions in the first four years of life might get a little “annoying” to any toddler. But now… it’s all good. He LOVES every second of my attention. I think that has something to do with having a sister
I just met the sweetest little one year old and her family. I was so thrilled to get to be a part of their morning a couple Saturdays ago. Her big blue eyes and a whole lot of personality were really fun to capture on camera during this indoor photo session! Read more ›
