It’s that time of year again when I do most of my sessions indoors. As much as I love to shoot outside, my photography roots came from learning to shoot indoors in available (natural) light. Although this next session took place in the fall, it didn’t keep up from capturing things right at home.

Want to see a busy family?….. then meet the Kings… whom I’ve been privileged to photograph a couple of times before. I have loved watching this family develop in front of my camera and I sure hope to see them again every year! Mom has evolved into such a “laid back, go with the flow”…
I hope you all had a very merry Christmas. I thoroughly enjoyed hours upon hours of lounging in front of the fireplace, snuggling with the kids, playing cards, watching movies, eating and eating. I think I’ve gained 5 lbs this week! So, I had to sneak away and post a newborn photo session from the…

This is one of my favorite sessions to date (even though the poison ivy rash I received was quite nasty). Knowing the family well always helps but just as much is the perfect lighting and location. I love the summer sunset and the way it makes the skin and hair glow. Typically, I favor a…
Little Sam has been one of JSP’s most photographed. I have random clients asking me about him and commenting on his blue eyes. He’s famous!
This was a first for me! To be able to watch a friend’s baby born into this great big world…. right behind my camera. It was an amazing experience!
