I LOVE meeting the new baby of a repeat client because of all the MAGIC in the house!!! I mean seriously, it doesn’t get any better than watching the older siblings (who are just babies themselves) take it all in! And as parents, we are flat out exhausted at all levels and have a hard…

I met the Cate family six years ago to capture memories of their first born and then we had many sessions thereafter. It was so fun to see them again but also with a baby boy!

How can it be that I’m about to go to this little man’s EIGHTH month session?!!! But seriously, he was the most laid back newborn. God knew he needed to be so chill because big sister is super spirited! She loves him so much!

These people are some of the loveliest folks to be around. I believe this was our 8th family session together and they never disappoint. They could show up with paper sacks on their heads and I would still love it! We took all the photos in their backyard and neighborhood just to keep things simple.…

Last summer I visited a new client and fell in love with their little family. They just had their second baby and he was just presh!

Two years ago, I had the privilege of photographing these sweet kiddos for the first time. I believe we mostly chased little sister around to keep her from the ducks in the pond. But this year we just let her boss us around while I took her photo! We totally lucked out and had a warm…

Had another great evening shoot at the Stuckey Farm apple orchard with friends Rhonda & Thor Peterson. While shooting their photos, Thor captured some great video and put together this wonderful little promo video of me at work. Thanks Thor!
Lovely session taken early this summer at the Indianapolis Art Center. These lovely daughters “O and E” were quite opposite of what I usually work with. They were calm and compliant and a bit shy. So it took a bit to warm them up. Lots of tickles, running and bubbles and before you knew it…
I loved meeting this new family. It was truly a special time together since Dad had just taken a new job out of state. Although they will all be joined together soon, these memories were probably some of the last in the old house (and town)! We totally lucked out with warm weather in March!
