You’ll probably recognize this family all over my website and blog. We’ve been great friends and neighbors for a decade now! I’ve watched these wild ones grow up from premature babies into tweens. I’ve also photographed them countless times. The last three years of family photo sessions are here, here and here. So, when deciding this year’s session location we had to think out-of-the box. A parking garage!! I might say it was perfect on three accounts:
- full sun (we needed shade relief)
- cupcakes for the sugar meltdowns
- an escape from the wind. Note the crazy hair!
Ready, set, go!
My favorites from this session: 1. Dad taking one for the team. He had a huge migraine midway through the session. He took a small break and then plugged right along knowing that he was investing into family memories. Scott, you rock! I am sorry that the light got into your eyes. I can imagine why? 2. The sweet cupcake break because I got to eat one too. 🙂 3. The new words that we learned along the way. No shame if it results in pure belly laughs. 4. Kennedy’s windblown curls. 5. Scott and Ali still so in love all these years later. 6. The beer Ali and I had at the end of this very long session. Much needed. 😉 Now, what shall we do next year?
