Had a complete blast photographing Anne Anderson’s (of Foto Wonder) family. Anne and I met up a few years ago at a local photographer get- together and eventually followed through on our idea to swap and photograph one another’s family! I mean, why is it that we photographers photograph everyone else’s family but then neglect our own! I’m convinced (hopeful) that she nor I will ever pass up an opportunity like this again. We all had SOOO much fun!

Ok, on to the photos. Gotta say, probably one of my favorite family sessions of the year. Anne is so laid back yet so creatively involved in her kids’ lives. I know this because I read all the fun things she does for them on her facebook page! Her personality really came out when she suggested the kids fly their home-made kites, drink soda pop and eat strawberries with whip cream. And seriously, who else but another photographer would be comfortable suggesting that her family get into a full blown whip cream war?! Wait a minute, I think it was Anne’s idea that my own family get into a paint war at our session. Not fair…. our family’s mess didn’t wash out but theirs’ did! Ahh, who cares…. it’s all worth it for art right?!
