Ok, prepare yourself for probably my biggest blog post yet. Large family share here! Triplets plus big sister x 2 sessions! I was so busy last fall that I didn’t have time to share the October session…. oops.
I have to say this was about as perfect as they get. The kids were happy as all get out, beautiful soft cloud coverage and for the most part the rain held off. The kids cooperated as much as any set of 18 month old triplets could. Oh and their clothes were too cute to boot!
A shot like this is displayed as a 30×40″ canvas in their family room…. and it’s the best piece of art in their home!
Our most recent session was a couple weeks ago which would mark the triplets 2 year photos aka known as my biggest challenge. We had to work around the rain so we ended up shooting at 5 ish. As soon as we got on the railroad tracks to get the group shot out of the way they all started melting…one by one. I’ve been doing photography long enough to know how to get 4 kids together for a photo even if it means taking a break and trying again later. BUT this session was the exception to that. With one child always crying (when trying to be corralled) after several failed attempts we decided to just let them run. Honestly, I think this session was my favorite because everything I captured was pure and raw. Nothing, and I mean that nothing, was forced!
Meet my challenge….
We decided after all that running we needed to cool off with some Alexander’s ice cream.Â
and that’s all folks!
