Every year this family makes the hike from Ft. Wayne for a family session. Then mom and Maggie make a special trip back in the month of January to for Maggie’s own session marking a new year. In past years, the session has taken place in my home, the laundromat and a cupcake shop. This year we wanted to do something new but also include cupcakes because it is her birthday. Our initial plan didn’t work out so we ended up going someplace I’d never been…. Confectioneiress Cupcakes & Sweets in Zionsville. Honestly, I had never even heard of this bakery but man am I glad I found them on Google! I brought several cupcakes home for my kids and they loved them. My daughter even said her tiramisu cupcake was the best cupcake she had ever eaten. Yes, I’ll be back because I see all their amazing creations on their Facebook page and it blows my mind!

Capturing all this in 45 minutes. It was quite chilly outside even though it was the warmest day of that week. How blessed we were to NOT have snow?
